Interview w/Jevon from Taste The Candy

This is my interview with Jevon from taste the candy.I started following him a while back and i love his blog.By looking at it you can tell he puts a lot of hard work into it and has a love for fashion which is why i chose to interview him.Go follow him @ http://kidfreshhotfashionx.blogspot.com/ if you aren't already!

1)Q-What attracts you to fashion,who influenced you?
A-There's a lot that attracts me to fashion, first off the style of the clothing. If its unique and gives that lasting impression than that is what attracts me. Color also plays a roll, sometimes if its a loud bright color that will also catch my eye. Like wise with the texture/prints. I believe just walking around the mall or clothing stores when I was younger influenced me. Person wise I'd have to go with Pharrell Williams and Christopher Bailey. Two different people however they just made me fall in love with fashion and expressing myself.

2)Q-In the future do you plan on having a career in the fashion industry?
A-Absolutely. Even if I'm not designing my own clothes I plan on working in some sort of fashion industry. I've been planing on designing my own magazine or being a fashion photographer. Fashion is my passion and I'm going to hopefully one day achieve it.

3)Q-I remember you posting a video to your blog of you rapping,is that something you want to do in the future as well?Not necessarily being a rapper but having music be involved in your career
A-Honestly I don't know if I'll continue with the rapping thing. I do plan on having music apart of my career in someway. However I am working on another song called "Love&Hate." BUT you never know what could happen. Maybe I'll get good one day haha

4)Q-Who is your favorite fashion designer?
A-I'm not sure if I have only one strict fashion designer... It's very hard to pick one. But I'm in love with most of Alexander Mcqueen's work.

5)Q-Last question.When you first made your blog did you have immediate success?Was it hard for you to get followers?
A-When I first started the blog there was success... Just not immediate. Coming into the blog I didn't know much about it and how to work it. However day by day it started to progress and so did the amount of followers. I set goals for followers like 20, 50, 100 +. Within the first week I hit 50 followers and then the next week I hit 100 right on the head. And so on and so forth. It wasn't very hard to gain followers because people had supported my blog and passed it along to friends.

i was that innocent but not so innocent girl
the one who loved being with family during the week-
but couldnt stray away from the liqour bottles on the week-ends
and i had friends and
then i met you
--you broke me down and
-took control of my mind body and soul
and soon i couldnt stand to be away from you-you were
my addiction and

and then everything came crashing down
cus the last thing i remember is you&your
friends taking what little innocence i had left in me
-i lay helplessly watching you insert here&him insert there
while the others just laugh as i wince in pain

&now as i lay on the bathroom floor.i wonder what
i could have done differently but the pain is overwhelming
&i cant think straight
so i cut;cut-releasing myself of all the pain
& i'm i'm happy

the happiest i've been in a while...
then i suddenly get distracted;glancing at all my veins
i see the blood seaping out
&iv'e realized what i've done...

so i lay back,closing my eyes
waiting for gods angels to take me
cus me being dead is the only way ill truly be happy
...so now im...
dead but alive
